I am writing this for my Arab Muslims fellows, especially Middle-eastern. It always depends on what you are going to learn here; Language, Bachelor, Master, or PhD. They have plenty of good language teachers and have few VERY VERY bad teachers which they haven't tried to change them. Some of them come to the class and sit on the chair directing students to do this and that without explanation, we did complain about this but no one listened to us. the receptionists in international language are not up to standards especially the Muslim lady (I am a Muslim and I can assure you that is not the way Muslims talk or deal with people, so sad about that). another thing about International college at QUT, they repeat the course for you not because you needed it but because they want you to pay more. it is money-oriented not service or teaching oriented at all. When it comes to Masters study. sometimes you pay as much as AUD 4000 for a course in which you don't have classes and you see the instructor only twice during the whole semester. some classes are taught by Asians who does not speak English very well and you hardly understand what they say because of their pronunciation (you do not get what you paid for). For PhDs, I have dealt with CARRS-Q at QUT and I am satisfied with what I get from them. just be careful with the international college and doing the master, they gonna suck your pocket.

My school is right next to this place, i walk past here everyday of the week (not including weekends) and its a nice place. Very grand, quiet, I always see different activities happening and they always have stalls for like open days I guess. I also see many groups of people walking to the library, or sitting down and talking about life. (P.S. There are many pokemons here) haha

Nice campus and decent teaching standards. Currently doing nursing but comparing to ACU, QUT teaching is more challenging and practical. Lovely amenities around the campus and on musk ave nearby. Rating it 4 stars due to highly unfriendly towards motorbikes.
